TSG Numbered Days and Birthdaybot Blog Hop Challenge

Today is day 1 of the There She Goes Blog Hop Challenge! I will be back tomorrow and Thursday with more cards featuring the soon to be released TSG stamp sets. In this card I cut out a negative shape and tucked the cloud paper behind so that the white balloons could float over the top. Customizing this card design would be fun and easy. Just change out the numeral and the number of balloons to coincide with the age of the child you are making the card for.

We have all had a loss for words…but have you ever had a loss for numbers Torico’s new illustrated set brings the numbers to the forefront. With two sets of numbers to color, paper piece, or be creative with ink Numbered Days is the set for you to send those birthday and anniversary wishes

Numbered Days is a 4×6 set that includes a total of 37 stamps and will sell for $15.00.

Friendbots, Lovebots, Nursebots, and now Birthdaybots. Torcio has been hard at work to bring us another fabulous bot! Is this bot ever cute. What a fabulous way to send out birthday wishes to your little bot.

Birthdaybot is a 3×4 set that includes a total of 4 stamps and will sell for $7.00.

Bird in a Circle

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Just a quick post today to share a card I made for the Simon Says , , , , , , Tag It! challenge. The challenge is to create a tag by itself or place it on a card. The Design Team used some Tim Holtz products on their cards. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks on mine and I used the Hero Arts Bird in a Circle stamp for my tag. I was inspired by the beautiful Pink Blossoms color palette by Design Seeds. The middle photo is a close up of how I used my
X-acto knife to cut the side of the circle for some added dimension.

Love U

I made this card specifically for The new Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: Chiclectic Challenge and the Simon Says: Love is in the Air Challenge. I really enjoy using inspiration photos to jump-start making a card! The wallpaper in the Tuesday Trigger photo is really bold and prominent while the teal headboard is soft and just an accent. I tried to reflect that in my card. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the LOVE U negative shape. Hope everyone is having a fantastic Valentine’s Day!

I challenged myself to use pastel colors, my least favorite color palette. I saw this photo on the Design Seeds website and I wanted to create birdhouses from scratch but the color palette is definitely out of my comfort zone. So here it is for better or worse! I’m entering this card into the Moxie Fab: Cool Tools Cutting & Trimming Challenge and the Moxie Fab: Cool Tools Punches Challenge. Almost forgot to submit this card to the Simon Says Stamp: Love is in the Air Challenge.

Papertrey Ink – Pinterest Inspiration & Moxie Fab Cool Tools

There are daily events and challenges going on over at the Papertrey Ink Blog. It’s a fast pace extravaganza and I wanted to participate in some of the challenges but it’s hard to keep up with the short time they allow to submit projects. I combined the Papertrey challenge with the Die Cutting Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. I used Spellbinders Circle dies and the Tim Holtz Alterations Brackets die by Sizzix for this card. I have been fighting a bug for the past couple of days and just don’t have a ton of energy to keep up with the daily challenges. Jessica Witty’s Pinterest photo inspiration really got my creative juices flowing despite my not feeling well.

I checked out the stamp sets and they’re silly and very sweet. The inspiration photo for this challenge really caught my eye! I created this card with one of their free Digi images called Double Heart. I’m also submitting this card to the ColourQ Challenge #123 and the Love is in the Air challenge at Simon Says Stamp. Look at those cookies in the ColourQ inspiration photo . . . they’re way to adorable to eat!
