Happy Friday everyone!!! I have a simple fall card to share with you today. I love the texture of the felt leaves! The pretty sentiment is from a Craft’s Meow stamp set called Fall Blessings. I’m submitting this card to the “Thanks” challenge over at CASology. They always come up with great theme ideas. Have a wonderful weekend!

CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #5
Hi everyone! Are you ready for another CAS(E) this Sketch? Before we move onto the card I’d like to make an EXCITING announcement! We have expanded our Design Team by 3 today!!! I’m so thrilled to introduce you to the very talented Karolyn Loncon, Christina Heeren and Jen Wills. Please hop on over to CAS(E) this Sketch and say hi and welcome them to the challenge.
For my card today I used the very pretty Golden Days stamp set by The Craft’s Meow. I really loved the bold script of the sentiment in this set. I tried to stay true to the sketch except for making my card square. I hope you’ll join us for this quick and easy sketch!
The Cameo Spotlight Challenge #4
We had some really beautiful submissions in our last challenge! Please stop by The Cameo Spotlight to see the winner’s outstanding cards. This time our theme is triangles. The design team have all come up with very different interpretations that I know you’ll really enjoy! Here’s my little 4.25″ x 4.25″ Sweetie Pie card that I cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.
We have a surprise guest designer with us this week and a super fantastic prize from Lettering Delights! You’ll have to drop by The Cameo Spotlight to see who she is and find out what the SUPER FANTASTIC PRIZE is!!!
PS Sparks Challenge: Designer Drafts September
It’s been so warm here it sure doesn’t feel like autumn yet! I’m finally in the mood to make autumn cards though. We have another very cool sketch from Kim to work with. This one really begged to be a simple card, in my mind. The vertical column translated into a tree when I first saw it. I stamped the tree and embossed it so that I could color it in with a white colored pencil. When you do this you can rub the pencil off the embossed lines and end up with a neater crisper image. I used the Autumn Groves stamp set for my card today.
We would love to see your take on this fun sketch over at the PS Sparks blog! Please go check out what the other designers have created, I’m always so surprised with what they come up with!
Fall Back to 2009
If you’re looking for my Cameo Spotlight card please scroll down to the previous post.
I was looking through the files on my computer for something to inspire a fall card and found this. It’s a card I made back in 2009! I remember how excited I was when I bought the Quickutz dies I used to make this card. Lifestyle Crafts still sells them. I adore the leaves die and the branches die. A wonderfully designed leaf and branch are so classic and never go out of style.
It’s fun to revisit some of these older supplies and breath new life into them. I’ll have to dig them out of the old shoe box and see what I can create.
Hello Fall!
Here’s my third fall card for this week. I think I’m ready to let go of summer now and embrace fall! I used a wonderfully grungy background stamp called Aged Print Frame along with Engraved Fruits and Everyday Sayings by Hero Arts to make this card. I hope it inspires you to begin making your own fall themed cards. Have a fantastic weekend and thanks for stopping by!
I’m submitting this card into the Moxie Fab World Asymmetry Challenge. Cath always has the most interesting challenges to play along in! You’ll have to go see what I mean. If you click HERE and take a look at the sidebar on the right you’ll see the current challenges.
Here Comes Fall!
My favorite color palettes and images are from fall. Those of you that have been apple picking know how much fun it is and how refreshing it feels when the weather is crisp. The cooler weather always seems to make me feel more energetic! I also adore the texture of natural fibers on my cards. I have 2 more fall cards to share with you this week. So stop back by for a peek! I used Engraved Fruits, and Thinking of You Messages stamps sets and the Designer Woodgrain background stamp by Hero Arts. (Please let me know if any of you are having problems with commenting. Thanks! Click here to contact me.)
I’m popping this card into the Moxie Fab World Asymmetry Challenge.
Don’t forget, those of you who use their Silhouette Cameo or SD to create cards are invited to submit your cards to our challenge. Hop on over to The Cameo Spotlight to check out challenge #2!
Pear Card for The Play Date Cafe Challenge #108
Just a quick little post today. I have been wanting to create a card using the colors in the Play Date Cafe’s inspiration photo ever since it was posted on the 17th. I adore warm earthy colors! I was also looking for an excuse to use my Silhouette Cameo again.
I used the Pear shape and the 3 Layer Flourish shape. The text pattern paper is from the Valise paper pad by Memory Box, Inc.

Autumn CAS Card
Just a quick post today . . . I created a card just in time to enter into the CAS-ual Friday’s Over the Edge Challenge CFC #27. I used the There She Goes Autumn Stamp Set. I’m crazy about this little stamp set! I have always loved leaf images. These are the perfect size and aren’t the patterns great?
Autumn CAS Challenge Card
I managed to finish this card just in time for the Mostly Monochromatic 3 + 1 Challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. I really enjoy challenges because it provides a great jumping off point for creating cards. I have also decided to enter this card into the Dolce Stamps Fall Color Challenge.
