CAS-ual Fridays Challenge CFC15 Card 2

Published on August 15, 2011, by

Quick little post today! I decided to create another card for the CAS-ual Fridays and Clean & Simple Stamping challenges. I really enjoyed making the first one so it led to another idea for the second one. Hope everyone has a fantastic day today!

  5. This embossed pattern is fantastic! I LOVE it, especially with those wonderful patterned hearts! Great card Jackie!

  6. Wow! I really love this! It would make an excellent Valentine card, and, as I am not much for hearts, the layout would be very good for stars as well. Saving to my ideas folder (Hope you don’t mind? I always give credit when using other people’s ideas.). Thanks!

    • Hi Shelly, Thank you for leaving such a thoughtful comment and welcome to my blog! I am off to visit your blog now. I don’t mind at all, I would love to see your version of my card with stars when you make it. :)

  7. Another great card. Simple but also complex with all the textures. I’m really liking this card base. Do you line the inside with white, for a greeting?

    • Hi Denise, I do if the base is a dark color. I usually only adhere one just before I mail it out though. I like to leave my cards blank inside until I get ready to mail them. This way I can write a message or decide on a sentiment or quote that is appropriate for the recipient.

  8. What are you using as the base stock?

    • All of my kraft colored cardstock is by Bazzill. Most of my other solid cardstock is by Close to My Heart. Thanks for bringing that up. I will have to make note of that in my supplies list. :)

  9. I love your card! Simple but full of details at the same time. Normally, I don’t like hearts that much, but I’ll make an exception this time! Your card is really beautiful…

  10. Love the way this looks! The embossed background is the perfect touch.
