Hope everyone is having a fun weekend! Today I have a new sketch for you based on an adorable card made by Laurie. HERE is her original card. Don’t you just LOVE the colors? Here is my take on this week’s RetroSketch. I created a clear window with a piece of acetate that I embossed and attached behind the die cut shape. I placed the same die cut shape cut from card stock inside, so that the color would peek through. This was NOT an easy card to photograph!

WoW! That embossed clear layer is fabulous. I’ve never seen that done before. You are so clever! I’ll bet it was difficult to shoot with light reflection and all that. It’s beautiful though, really!

Those window cards are always hard to photograph. The embossing is really cool–I’ve never tried that! Cool colors too (no pun intended).
